The Liberty Baptist Bus Ministry believes it is one of God's greatest tools for reaching children and their families. We spread the Gospel throughout the areas of Princeton, Green Valley, and Bluefield. To meet this challenge, we send four buses and three vans into the community each Sunday morning. By using special events, games, and promotions, our ministry averages 4,200 riders a year.

The Bus Ministry was the first outreach ministry at Liberty Baptist Church. It began in 1978 in downtown Princeton. As the church started growing in membership and looking for a way to grow, it began the first bus ministry in southern West Virginia. Over the years, God has blessed our ministry with boys, girls, and parents who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Since 1978, former riders have become teachers, nurses, soldiers, and more. As of today, at least three serve God as pastors locally and as far away as California.

Luke 14:23 says that the Lord sent servants into highways and hedges to fill the house of the Lord. As a church and a bus ministry, we believe we must go to the streets, alleys, and the neighborhoods to bring Jesus Christ into the community.
